Privacy policy: Active Family Offices connector
Applies to the Active Family Offices AI connector at mcp.activefamilyoffices.com (the "connector"), used from ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants. Last updated October 19, 2026. The Active Family Offices store privacy policy covers purchases on activefamilyoffices.com.
Personal data we collect
- Account data: the work email and first name you enter at sign-in, when the account was created and last used, and which AI assistant you connected from.
- Sign-in data: a one-time sign-in code (stored only as a hash) and the IP address of the sign-in request.
- Usage data: the family office profiles you opened, daily call counts, and a log of tool calls (tool name, the search filters or firm you asked for, success and response time).
- Access tokens issued to your AI assistant (stored only as hashes).
- We do not receive your chat conversations, files or payment details. We only see the requests your assistant sends to the connector.
How we use it
- To sign you in, run your searches and open the profiles you ask for.
- To apply the profile allowance and daily limits, and to prevent abuse.
- To fix errors and improve search and the database.
- To email you about the Active Family Offices database, as stated on the sign-in page. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who receives it
- Cloudflare, which hosts the connector and its database and delivers sign-in codes.
- Kit (kit.com), our email service: your email and first name only, for the emails above.
- We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
- Sign-in codes and sign-in IP addresses: deleted after 2 days.
- Tool call logs: deleted after 90 days.
- Access tokens: expire automatically and are deleted 30 days after they expire.
- Account data and opened profiles: kept while your account exists, until you ask us to delete it.
Your choices
- Delete your account and its data, or get a copy: email support@activefamilyoffices.com from the address you signed in with. We act within 10 business days.
- Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Disconnect: remove the connector in your AI assistant's settings at any time.
People listed in the database
The database lists family offices and the decision-makers they publish, with business contact details. For firms in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, Israel and Canada, decision-makers are shown by name and position only. Anyone listed can ask for a correction or removal: see Corrections and removal.
